Observation 5/19/08

Site:Shelby's backyard/Flat Creek
Date:5/19/08
Time:6:00
Temperature:75 Degrees F
Weather: Sunny
Soil:Rocky Muddy River

It was extremely hot today, especially with the sun out and shining. Something extremely important has happened over the last couple of days. The river that has been lowering the last couple of weeks has unbelievably risen around half a foot and is now overflooding on the riverbank. I predict that the reason the water has finally risen is because since it is getting warmer in the area, the snow up near the canyons is finally melting and is flowing into the river. Also, I noticed that the geese that havn't been around in about two weeks, have finally returned in their normal area around the other side of the bank of the river. Sadly there was no sign of Pedro and Shaniqua at all and Im pretty courious to where they might be hiding.
